A 5-STEP INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR NEW USERS
This checklist will help you install the app, begin collecting SMS subscribers and launch your first automated flows.

** NOTE: Kinnekt is available for USA subscribers only. **
For this reason we don’t recommend using Kinnekt’s mobile popup or shareable links on stores with high international traffic as any international subscribers will not receive SMS messages.
Step 1: Install Kinnekt On Your Shopify Store

Next, we’ll update your store’s Terms of Service and Privacy pages with Kinnekt’s copy & paste legal templates so everything is TCPA compliant.
After this step, you’ll be able to start collecting your first SMS subscribers!

Now that you successfully updated your store to be TCPA compliant, let’s move on to the fun stuff...
In this step, you’ll add your first three SMS flows* from Kinnekt’s flow template library.
These flows are:

*Flows are a sequence of automated text messages sent when a customer either completes a dynamic action (i.e., makes a purchase or abandons their cart) or when they subscribe via a mobile popup or shareable link.

Almost done! Only two more steps remain.
Next, you’re going to add a mobile-only popup to your store. Kinnekt mobile popups are an easy way to start growing your SMS subscriber list and they go hand in hand with the flows you just created.

Step 5: Turn On Auto-Recharge
Step 5: Turn On Auto-Recharge
The fifth and final step on this checklist is to enable Kinnekt’s auto-recharge feature.
By enabling this option, you agree to allow us to automatically add more funds to your account when your balance falls below the designated threshold that you set. This way you never run out of credits during a flow and your message delivery won’t be interrupted.
